Palestinian architects Elias and Yousef Anastas founded Local Industries as a means to insert local know-how and craftsmanship into their architectural work, their goal is to produce highly functional furniture crafted entirely by local makers. The endeavour aims to reassert the value of Palestinian workmanship without freezing it into traditional or obsolete roles. The results have been bold furniture pieces that are equally uncomplicated and vibrant.
